If you are a results-driven, ambitious, self-starter with prior automotive shop experience, this is a great opportunity! Who are we looking for? Previous experience as a Technician, Service Advisor or Dispatcher CDK experience Knowledge of Acura is a big plus! Ability to communicate with techs, advisors, managers Team player Process-oriented Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment What will you be doing? The Dispatcher plans and controls the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs.
The ideal candidate has previous experience in a dealership Service Department Schedule shop work as efficiently as possible in accordance with dealership policy Assign work to the correct technician level Review hard copies turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been completed properly Ensure technicians complete the multi-point vehicle inspection forms Complete a dispatch log daily and turn into Service Management at end of shift Maintain a record of carryover vehicles Spot-check repairs to assure quality and timely completion Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
