Position
Summary:
The Demand Allocation Manger acts as a liaison with various cross functional teams (i.
e.
, process development, manufacturing site leads, clinical development, and commercial) to manage the near-term demand / allocation plans for the cell therapy portfolio.
This role also partners with the global supply chain internal/external teams to review the allocation plans as part of the SD&OP (Sales, Development, and Operations Planning) process.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Work closely & collaboratively with Cell Therapy teams such as:
clinical operations, cell therapy supply, patient scheduling and logistics, manufacturing site leads to achieve business goals.
Create and maintain near term demand and allocation plans associated with the Cell Therapy portfolio.
Manage controlled migration process of production forecast to allocation forecast in alignment with SD&OP process.
Laisse with Global Supply Chain to ensure allocation across all demand (i.
e.
, clinical trials and commercial runs) are maintained within defined plant manufacturing capacity, CMOs included, through SD&OP process.
Partner with cell therapy master data management teams and Scheduling & Cell Logistics team to ensure e-system alignment of the allocation forecast to support capacity availability for cell therapy treatment sites.
Lead weekly cross functional tactical demand allocation meetings and update the forecasting system in alignment with plans and plant manufacturing capacity.
Partner with clinical study teams to align trial assumptions to translate protocol design(s) into program level forecast.
Provide input into trials to ensure manufacturing is best utilized.
Identify potential bias in plans to improve forecast accuracy.
Assist with the maintenance and process improvement of tools used to maintain the forecast.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline6
years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, clinical planning, and/or forecasting,Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative in a team-oriented environment, and the ability to communicate well orally and in writing.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data sourcing)Excellent analytical, data analysis, and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility in responding to change or business needs.
The starting compensation for this job is a range from $92,000 - $115,000 for Manager level and $109,000 - $138,000 for Senior Manager level, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.
Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
